Acne can be embarrassing and make you feel like you have no control. Here are a few tips for acne that you can do to at least make you feel more in control and help clear up your face. Wash your face twice a day with an acne soap that is sulfur based. Do this first thing in the morning and right before bed, don’t rub to hard with a wash cloth though you don’t want to stimulate you sebaceous glands to make more oils.
Keep your hair off your face as hair contains oil as well that could contribute to your breakouts. Take a good multi-vitamin. Acne can be a sign that something is wrong on the inside of you body. Basically, your skin reflects your nutrition and if that’s not good it will fight back, usually in the form of acne. Include chromium and beta-carotene in your diet both are excellent for the skin. Chromium for healing it and beta-carotene for strengthening the protective tissues of the skin, which will actually prevent acne.
