While not everyone can be color coordinated or aware of patterns and cuts of clothes, one area that women can improve upon is wearing the right type of body shapewear underwear.
Obviously, there is a reason underwear is worn beneath the clothes. They shouldn’t be seen. Therefore, it is unacceptable that women have panty lines or bra lines visible. While most women adhere to the no panty line rule, they forget the bra lines. In fact, most women don’t wear the correct size bra. It is really a shame that underwear is so neglected in the way women build their outfits when in fact, underwear is the foundation of a good wardrobe. Instead, women choose to buy cheap flimsy undergarments when shapewear underwear can do wonders for their figures.
The idea for shapewear came from centuries of prior experience in slimming underwear for women such as corsets and girdles. Luckily, with advancement in textile fabrics, modern shapewear is much more comfortable.
So if you’re one of those women who don’t know how to improve the way they dress, start with the basics and get good support underwear. You’ll be amazed on the difference that alone makes in your appearance. At the very least, it is one less infraction on crimes against fashion.
