Next time you see the perfect boots with the not quite right heel, don’t walk on by. Try them on and see if they’re a good fit. But you don’t like the heel, you say. Don’t sweat it. If the rest of the boot is truly perfect, it may be worth it to look into changing your heel.

What do you need to do it? To change the heel of the boots you will need the ravel boots in question, an idea of the right heel, and a skilled cobbler.

A heel that needs to be shortened slightly is the easiest fit. If the heel is just about a half inch too tall, it can just be cut down. However, if a greater adjustment is needed, the cobbler will likely get a new heel block with the correct height, so that the arch matches right. This will be a little more expensive to accomplish.

If you want the silhouette of the bamboo shoes heel reworked, but not a different height, this will also be a relatively simple fix. You can just have your cobbler swap one for another. A thin heel can be replace by a chunky wedge. A thick heel can be replaced with a stiletto.

It is fairly simple to lower the heel or change the type of heel. However, if you are interested in getting a higher heel, you may run into some complications. Whether or not it is even possible depends greatly on the arch of the original boot and whether or not it has enough give to go higher.

The second security feature is very cool if you think you’re not going to be able to recover your iPhone.  Maybe you lost your iPhone while on vacation and won’t be able to return to pick it up or maybe your iPhone was stolen.  This security feature allows you to send a remote command to your phone to completely erase any of your personal information.  This is not reversible so make sure that if you do send this command to your phone that you are fairly confident that you will never see again.

Most trampolines sold in sports and recreation stores are round in shape and it is in fact somewhat difficult to find a square trampoline without purchasing it from online.  You may think that there is no difference between a square and a round trampoline other than their shape but they do in fact have some differences that should be considered when you are choosing a trampoline for your family.

The reason the round shaped trampoline is so much more prevalent is because it is inherently easier to use.  Especially for younger children or those with little experience on a trampoline, a round shape will help you to stay centered on the trampoline and avoid falling off or getting caught in the springs where injuries can occur.  Round trampolines have more give to them giving a softer bouncing experience and less chance of errantly flying from the trampoline due to an unbalanced bounce.  Because of the shape and the configuration of the springs you will always be pushed towards the center of a circular trampoline which is somewhat of a safety feature.

Square and rectangle shaped trampolines offer a slightly different bouncing experience.  You may have noticed that Olympic trampolines used by gymnasts are rectangular in shape.  Square trampolines operate with the same principles.  Because of the configuration of the springs and the square shape, these trampolines have a tighter bounce that can lead to much higher air with experienced bouncers.  They also offer less variation in the bounce from the middle to the sides but lack the centering effect of a circular trampoline.  This means that it is easier for an inexperienced user to accidentally fall off or get to close to the edge possibly landing on the springs.  One benefit of a square trampoline is that it uses space more efficiently and will take up less room in your backyard.

Unless you are using your trampoline as a skilled gymnast there is really no reason to buy a square trampoline.  For recreational purposes a round one is a it safer for most users.  For whatever type of trampoline you wish to purchase, there are safety accessories such as mesh cages that can be fitted to any trampoline.

The end of summer is about to come once again and so we need to check on our resolutions and identify what changes we want in our lives now. This is the best time to take a look back to what we had the past months and plan where we want to be in the future. Two areas that are receiving great attention during this time are hair loss and weight issues. Both of these problems can be a source of stress and worry to a person and these have negative impact to one’s self-esteem. With parents wishing to return to environmentally friendly ways, the age-old idea of placing babies on sheepskins or natural fiber long hair rugs is one that has been revived.

Are long hair sheepskins safe places for baby to sleep and play?

Here are some benefits to consider:

1. for newborn babies, it’s best to choose a shorn sheepskin rug that’s about an inch or 28 centimeters long if the baby is to rest directly on the rug for sleeping. Unshorn longhair rugs and sheepskins usually have hair that’s about 2 inches and can be used for older babies and also to pad or cushion a newborn baby cradle, crib or stroller.
