As a psychologist I see many people who have sleeping problems. Some of them are diagnosed with a syndrome called Insomnia. People with Insomnia have subjective and objective problems with falling asleep or staying asleep. They feel tired and agitated because of the fact that they hardly got any sleep the last few days. You don’t have insomnia when you have slept bad for 1 or 2 days. You need to sleep bad for a prolonged period of time before you get a diagnose of Insomnia. A natural treatment for Insomnia would be improving your sleep hygiene and this is the first thing a psychologist will talk about when someone with Insomnia comes to him. Improving sleep hygiene is the best way in treating and curing Insomnia.
