If you are going shopping for living room furniture, I would highly recommend that you consider getting a leather chesterfield sofa.  This is a real old time favorite that has a unique history, but it is also a great choice in terms of fashion and practicality.

A chesterfield sofa is rather easy to clean as it usually does not have cushions that come off, and if you chose a leather one that only makes it easier.  You see, with a leather sofa, you don’t have to worry about food getting stuck into the fabric, you can just wet it and wipe any dirt off.

I would caution you though that you should take care that the sofa should not get scratched because it would be very difficult to repair.
