Faux Wood Window Blinds

Wooden blinds seem to be coming back into fashion again of late. For a long time there, vinyl reigned supreme in the world of blinds. It is so easy to clean, and so inexpensive. New home owners particularly liked them because they weren’t too much of an added expense to an already strained budget. Unfortunately, wood is one of the most expensive materials out there to use for blinds, so many of us have to settle for the next best thing.

The next best thing in this case is faux wood. Faux wood window blinds are made from a wood composite; they are actually more hardy than wood, as they don’t warp or fade as wood can. They are also a lot cheaper than real wood, and unless you are standing right next to them, it is really hard to tell the difference.
