I am a knife collector and I wanted to talk about Hunting Knives, and what to look for if you’re in the market for a good hunting knife. Now the first one I want to talk about is a cheap hunting knife that you may get from like the swap-meet. If your just starting to collect knives and that’s what you get that’s fine just make sure you don’t try and use it to actually skin a animal, trust me it turns out bad and I am speaking from experience. After 15 stitches and a broken knife it was not worth it. Know I have a Buck hunting knives and also Benchmade hunting knives, and just like that old saying you get what you paid for stands true with knives. When you use a quality knife it makes the skinning portion a lot easer and also they stay sharper longer.
I have a few different cheap knives in my collection just for looks, I like the way they built and designed them so I figured they would look good in my collection. If your looking for a good knife take a look at my site for hunting knives and also you can learn about some cool custom hunting knives there as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my article and please fill free to comment on my site about your collection or advice on knives that you have had experience with. I will also be updating my site here in the future on some custom knives a buddy of mine is making for me know. Once there done I will put up some pictures and also tell you what he used to make them. I found some nice iron wood when I was out in Arizona I think it will make a really nice handle.
