When you own a restaurant, one of the first things that a customer sees when they sit down is your menu. So, having a menu that looks good is important. It makes that first impression upon the diner. Just having a simple sheet of paper might work in some cases, but if you want to run a respectable establishment, you want a menu cover that showcases your restaurant and the type of food you serve.

There are a wide variety of menu covers available. Some of them are leather-bound an can be rather expensive. Some of them are just covered in plastic. Still other menus are spiral-bound with a simple laminate coating on the outside.

Whatever material you choose for your menu cover, the cover should have the name of your restaurant on it. You need to choose the design on the cover. If need be, you can hire a graphic designer to create a logo for you. It should be something that stands out and is memorable to the diners. You want your logo to be automatically associated with your restaurant. Doing this can help you build your brand.

There are many things you have to keep in mind when you are opening a restaurant. However, your menu covers should not be something thrown together at the last minute. Take the time to design a cover that people will remember and that accurately represents you and the type of food you want to serve. Having the right menu and the right cover for that menu can go a long way in giving the right feeling for your restaurant so that customers will want to come back again and again. Designing the right menu cover seems like a little thing but it should be part of your restaurant’s overall style.

For those of you who love buying coffee from a shop, yet are concerned at the high costs of doing so, there is an alternative. The Keurig K Cup coffee machine may be your solution. This revolutionary brewer uses a new technology called a K Cup, whereby one cup of coffee can be produced at a time, just by pressing one button.

A K Cup is actually a small vacuum sealed cup-shaped capsule with a small coffee filter inside. This small cup contains freshly ground coffee that is kept fresh due to it being vacuum sealed with a foil top. When it is time to brew a coffee you just put the K cup coffee into the brewing section of the machine, close the top, choose how big of a cup of coffee you want, put your coffee mug under the spout and press one button to start the process. What follows is amazing. The foil on top of the capsule is punctured at the top and the capsule is also punctured at the bottom. Hot water is then forced through the capsule and down into your waiting coffee mug, and it all takes place in less than one minute! When your coffee is made you just take out the used capsule and put it into the trash. That’s all it takes to make one nicely brewed cup of coffee. Your machine is now ready to make a new cup, if you like.

There are many pro’s to owning a machine like this. For one, you can brew as many different types of coffee as you have coffee capsules. So if you like one type and your friend prefers another you can simply brew up two different cups of coffee in two minutes. There are a lot of different types of coffee available in K Cups, you can even purchase tea and white hot chocolate K Cups as well.

Another advantage of this coffee maker is that there is no mess to clean up afterward, no glass pot to wash, no filters to clean out.  It costs just less than $100 for the coffee maker, which is a very good deal considering all that you are getting for that amount of money. You can order them online, and they will be shipped out right away.

Many people wonder, just what IS the acai berry? You first need to know where the berry comes from, to answer this question. For centuries, acai fruits were a highly sought-after trading item that, for centuries, South American merchants frequently exchanged in their deals. Also known as the Acai fruit, the berry features a very large seed and is characterized by it’s round, purple appearance (although some acai varieties are green in color). Approximately one inch in diameter, the seed is about seven to ten millimetres of the total diameter, so occupies 80% of the volume of the entire fruit.

Consisting of just seed and about 1 mm of pulp, the acai berry fruit is available mostly in its juice or pulp form as it does not hold up well after it has been harvested. The Acai palm delivers crops of 1000 berries twice annually, meaning there is no shortage of the fruit.

Often used in cooking, the acai berry and pulp does not require any particular preparation when eaten raw. In some regional diets, the fruit represents as high as 42% of total consumption. The berry can be mixed into virtually anything from entrees and side dishes to sorbets, ice creams, desserts and yogurts. Acai fruit juice is also used in a delicious acai fruit drink.

It was not until recently that the nutritional viability of the acai fruit was fully understood, despite that the berry had been extensively studied in the 1930s and 40s and the fruit’s benefits wildly known. Offering a wide array of 19 amino acids, fatty acids and a huge array of nutrients, the content of this fruit is quite astonishing!

What this translates to in practice is a perfect balance of energy and nutrients that help your body’s natural mechanisms fight of the damaging free radicals in your system helping you to feel (and look) younger, in particular the condition of your skin. Also part of the acai berry is the presence of Vitamins A, D and E, zinc, magnesium and a host of other essential nutrients.

While a delicious fruit in itself, few would have guessed this inconspicuous berry would offer such a wide range of nutritional goodness. To buy acai fruit products or more information in general, visit the following link. Acai Fruit

When cooking pork, there is a fine line between well done and overdone.  Well done gives you a succulent, tender, juicy chop.  Overdone gives you a tough, hard-to chew piece of meat that will detract from even the best recipe.

Pork chops go well with an amazing number of different fruits and vegetables that vary the basic taste enough that eating them can always be a delight and never boring.  Pork chops recipes are numerous enough to fill an entire cookbook.  Even though garlic and onion are staples that will enhance almost any pork recipe, there are other ingredients like wine, cream of mushroom soup, cranberries, pineapples, soy sauce, and ginger that also taste amazing when combined with the humble pork chop.  Pork chops can be stuffed, baked, fried, and grilled.  Each method of cooking brings out a welcome and different angle to the flavor of the pork chop.

Generally speaking, if we use pineapple in the recipe, we call it Hawaiian. The ingredients that go with the pineapple can make a succulent difference to the flavor of the meat.  An easy boneless pork chop recipe begins with breading the chops, browning them, and then simmering them in a delicious sauce of pineapple juice, catsup, and vinegar.  You can then top them with pineapple slices to serve.  You can vary this recipe by adding green peppers and brown sugar.

Pork chops go well with a variety of other fruits in addition to pineapples. Thyme, salt, pepper, and pear combine with pork chops for a lovely taste treat.   Or how about peaches combined with green onion, red bell pepper, cilantro, limejuice and cayenne pepper flakes to give a wonderful flavor.

One super-easy boneless pork chop recipe involves putting them in a crock-pot with cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup. Leave them to cook all day and you will be able to enjoy a super-tender and tasty meal.

Other cooking tips for your pork chop recipes include making a marinade out of chopped rosemary, honey, orange zest, lemon, or lime.  You can add a fruit to this marinade and perhaps some brown sugar.  Instead of rosemary, you can put in marjoram or oregano.  A dash of Worcestershire sauce can add some interest to the marinade.  Make up your own variations on this theme for fun and happy taste buds.

The only limit you can put on the variations in pork chop recipes is your imagination.  Some wonderful combinations undoubtedly seemed inedible until the first time someone tried them and found out that the flavors actually mixed well and produced something special.
