Do Something Cool With Your Garmin Nuvi 650 GPS

Boy, am I ever excited, a bunch of my fiends have started geocaching, and they wanted me to join in their hunts. As money was a little tight, I didn’t think I could, until I realized that my Garmin Nuvi 650 GPS system that I bought for my car, could also be used as a handheld GPS unit.

It’s a little heavier that some of the other handheld GPS units, but it worked just great for finding caches with the gang. I just took it from its suction cup mount and slipped it into my jacket pocket, and I was all set to follow the directions to our target cache. Nothing could have been easier.

Our first cache was located just around the corner from my home, it was a micro-cache attached to the stop sign, and believe it or not, I got there first, it was my find.
