Buying a Kitchen Stool? Give It Some Thought

The last time I bought a bar stool for my kitchen I made sure that I spend a lot of time getting just the right model to go in my favorite room in the house. The last time I had purchased kitchen bar stools had been more than 15 years previously and had been bought in a rush to give me something to sit on without thought to their style.

Now there’s nothing wrong with getting a stool that functions purely as a device to prop you up when eating, that is generally a stool’s main purpose in life after all. On the other hand when a piece of furniture is going to live in your house for a couple of decades it can pay dividends to make sure you get something you really like. No point in shelling out your hard earned cash for a bar stool that doesn’t ring your bell when a little extra effort and perhaps a few more dollars will result in a purchase which brings a little extra joy into your life.
