An auto loan for people with bad credit is invariably going to be an expensive loan. You are a poor credit risk by definition so the loan provider -although probably very happy to deal with you – will be making sure they make a healthy profit.
So what’s a better option -lose the car I’d say. If you are in financial difficulties the last thing you should be spending money on is a nice car. Get your self an old clunker for a few hundred dollars and give back the fancy car.
Even better – get a bicycle or rediscover public transit – a car is a convenience that most people throughout history haven’t had and many don’t have today. So look hard at your lifestyle and ditch the car before you take out that expensive loan
