Taking Care When Choosing An Anti-Cellulite Method

The bad news about cellulite is that the majority of women will have it to some degree after the age of 25. The good news is that its appearance can be reduced with the right treatment. Unfortunately, there are many anti cellulite products available to purchase and most of these treatments simply don’t cut the mustard. Frankly, the treatments that over promise and under deliver are snake oil designed to prey on the insecurities of women.

Just a cursory glance at the anti cellulite product range should send a warning that you need to be careful with your money. For example, anti cellulite shape-wear is marketed as an easy and natural cellulite removal product. Simply wear this undergarment and the fat cells in your body will heat up, rupture and then be expelled by your body. Nice in theory but there is no scientific basis for it and any weight you do lose is probably water weight from excess sweating.

There are several treatments that do work, however. Here is a brief look at some of the more popular remedies:

-    Laser treatment for cellulite: there are several laser machines made specifically for cellulite but TriActive by Cynosure is the currently the most popular cellulite laser. The system is conducted in a cosmetic clinic and involves a combination of laser and massage. You can see results in as little as 8 sessions but will require monthly follow-ups indefinitely to maintain the results.
-    Cellulite cream: lotions often get a bad rap but they can be very effective for mild or moderate cellulite. Women with more severe cellulite should try other options. A tub can cost between $30 to $300. The better creams tend to be more costly but are worth the investment. Anti cellulite lotions aren’t a cure – you will need to continue their use indefinably to keep any gains.
-    Cosmetic surgery: while it has its risks, plastic surgery can be a permanent way to get rid of cellulite. There are a number of options that you can choose from including fat transplants, liposuction, cellulite lysing and lower body lifts.

Closet Furniture: Portable Closets

There are now a near endless amount of closet furniture, closet accessories, closet organizer tools, wardrobe organization racks, shelves, cabinets, and so on. While many of these items are extremely helpful for someone who wants to buy a few items to help clear up the mess that has become of their wardrobe, in this article we will look specifically at the area of portable closets.

What are portable closets, exactly? Well, they are similar to wardrobe closet furniture in the sense that they are a free standing storage closet that is not built into the wall or mounted into anything, such as the John Loius Home Closet Systems are. The primarily difference is that a wardrobe closet is nearly always very heavy and bulky and certainly not easy to move around, whereas a portable closet is, in fact, very portable. This is accomplished by two factors. One, they’re built around a light weight metal frame and two, they usually have wheels to make them incredibly portable.

Another huge difference compared to that of the armoire or traditional wardrobe closet is that a portable closet costs much, much less. Whereas many spend over $1,000 on a nice wooden armoire, a metal portable closet will run you only $40 to $80, or $100 at most. This price difference is pretty enticing!

Portable closets get a lot of use around the home as a guest room closet or additional storage closet for the master bedroom. They’re also great for storing or even archiving clothes into the garage or attic, so long as you find a closet that “breathes” yet seals itself from the elements at the same time. Companies such as Rubbermaid and Honey Can Do both make portable closets that fit this function, making them suitable for long term clothing storage without threat to the integrity of the clothes.

As far as closet furniture goes, a portable closet isn’t the most beautiful piece of closet furniture out there. They’re made of metal and cloth, so there’s no nice wooden finish to shine on them. However, they do still look nice, and will certainly compliment any room – especially in the sense that they will declutter the house by providing a home for the clothes that previously were left on the floor!

Removing Back Hair Without Pain

There are several methods of removing back hair, some of which are less painful than others. If the idea of waxing does not appeal to you, here are a few suggestions you may want to consider for back hair removal that do not hurt quite as much.

Hair removal creams or “depilatories” are a much gentler solution for removing unwanted hair. It might be a good idea to have someone help you to apply the cream if you are trying to remove hair on your back. These products can be very effective and sometimes the hair will even grow back finer, especially if you repeat the procedure several times. While using depilatories is virtually pain free, some people with skin sensitivity may develop a rash. The manufacturers usually recommend testing the cream on a small area first.

The other hair removal method that is usually pain free is shaving. Nicks and cuts are always possible, but can be avoided if you use good razors and are careful. There are now razors that are made especially for removing hair on the back. They have long, extendable handles that allow the user to reach the entire back area themselves. This is a great development for those who like to remove back hair in the privacy of their own home.

A third possibility for removing back hair without a lot of pain is laser back hair removal. Some people report minor discomfort during laser treatments, but most agree it is nothing like the pain of waxing. Of course, all of these methods have advantages and disadvantages. Many people are not good candidates for laser back hair removal and it does require several appointments to be effective. The advantages of this method are that you can achieve permanent results and it does make sense for the back area since it can target large areas for hair removal. So try one of these three methods if you want to achieve painless back hair removal.
