If you want a personal recommendation for a real estate agent then I will be happy to give you one, but you’ll have to move to France! I recently bought a property here in the Languedoc region of France, about an hour south of Carcassonne in the back of beyond, trust me it’s very beautiful. Normally the estate agents down here are a real pain in the you know what. But this guy Didier was really helpful, he must have spent about five days with us tracking down all kinds of property that we asked him to find. What was really cool was that he didn’t lose his temper or complain when we completely changed our brief about half way through the buying process. He certainly earned his money and we were happy to pay him his commission.
